PERFECT PLUS STYLE

FALL season is the time we change from flouncy dresses and strappy sandals to a more  covered and muted tones.  The bold bright colours are changed to solids, black, grey or the neutrals. BEIGE is big for the Season.  Beige works well with most skin tones and hair colours. I have always like the neutrality of beige. It goes well with black and looks classy. Think of the classic camel coats, suedes , wools or cashmeres for the fall. So well  summer is officially over and holidays ended , its time to get the work wardrobe out. For a casual look the simple denim jacket, paired with that summer purse will still work. For work then a great camel coat or blazer , flats shoes  and a stylish purse. A SIMPLE SHIRT DRESS The plain white shirt is always one item we have in our wardrobe. Be it a dressier white or simple t-shirt but what about shirt dresses  One of my favourites is a simple shirt dress. It makes getting out the door fast and easy. The style is simple and always easy to dress up or have  more a casual look.  I have been on the hunt for some summer sale items and found this great little shirt dress. I thought it be perfect for summer and fall. A transitional piece.  The navy and stripe look is very classic and the cuffs reverse detail is different fell in love with that. A CASUAL DENIM LOOK The summer season is quickly coming to a end ,though it does not feel like it with temperatures close to 30C.  So to keep in the summer mood  I thought  I would try mixing denim and one of my favourite maxi skirts . A denim jacket is so versatile and you can wear it into to the fall season with a light  knit under or over a knit dress with boots or even a pair of leather slacks .  Casual smart and edgy .  So how do you style your denim pieces? THE SOUNDS OF SUMMER I am a complete nature nut.....  take me out of the city into the wonderful outdoors and its like  a complete change of mind and feeling, there is nothing more relaxing then setting out on an adventure, be it big or small. S undays are made for  enjoying the day, spending time with family or doing nothing. but sit and read or wander a pathway, whatever takes your fancy. O ne of my all time favourite things to listen to is the sounds of birds, and if at home I will listen to a recording of nature, An absolute relaxing , mood changing feeling. S o hopefully it might inspire you to try one of these things. Sitting outdoors by a fire Reading a book NO computers or phones! Giving yourself a spa treatment Trying a new craft or diy Writing friends a postcard  what a surprise that be, as we all use email to connect Listening to the birdsongs Have a super Sunday !

OUTDOOR LIFE As the title says, outdoor life is for me the place to be in the summer. It is so much more relaxing to get away from the city  and be out in nature. There are many wonderful place to go and europe has many camp sites . This year we thought to take a road trip and explore more places, rather then a city tour thing. Outfits that are casual and worry free will be high on the list for shopping and summer sales now make it the right time, to get some things-  Here are some choices below. Another must have is a denim jacket. POLKA DOTS OR SPOTS? I have to say polka dots are a favourite of mine. A classic print that never goes out of style -  it is timeless. Whether you go all out  or wear it in small doses  like a scarf , blouse or shoes. Polka dots can really add interest to a simple outfit: from a simple denim dress or plain t shirt.  I picked up a dress few years ago on sale, that sat in my closet . just didn't get around to wearing it. But now that I see polka dots are the big trend thought I start to wear it.  Wearing it under  a blazer jacket that has some details  Style it with a nice handbag, a pair of pumps or ballet shoes. So whether you are a fan of dots, you can try it .
