THE SHAPE OF THE MATTER Today I thought I write about shapes, body shapes and styling ideas . It can be a  real challenge to find or figure out what looks nice on one person and not so great on another.  Of course shapes, size and height all a part of the factors.   Its like looking at art, some art is great some not so interesting. So what shape are you.. pear, apple, diamond , hourglass, or boyish figure? How do you know what to wear and is right for your shape. HOURGLASS is the  desired shape for most woman, think of Modern Family star...Sophie Vergara. Ashley Graham. the shapely hourglass is one that can wear things that accentuate the waist , So  a peplum dress  and fitted outfits are made for this figure. JUMPSUITS OR NOT? I was not really a fan of jumpsuits for a few reasons (ladies room trips and the fit ) if you follow me.  But somehow my style or taste has changed after I found a few nice ones that just fit right. One thing i do like its easy to dress up or down,  looks put together  and simple. PERFECT NAVY    add the right accessories, espadrilles and tote bag.  A nice travel outfit.   RUFFLE LOVERS THIS ONE IS CHIC keep it simple with a statement earring & clutch bag.   SLEEK, STYLISH & FUN  

CASUAL COOL STYLE A GOOD JACKET IS SOMETHING WE ALL NEED.  BIKER JACKETS HAVE BEEN A STYLE THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOREVER IT SEEMS.  PERHAPS IT WAS THE 50S THAT INFLUENCED THAT LOOK.  BIKERS JACKETS AND JEANS LOOK FOR GUYS AND GIRLS. A good leather one will last years and years.  A definite good thing to have but if you just want to have the look for less money there are some other great ones worth trying. MONOTONE LOOK This soft grey faux suede is a good start, its style is more simple less rough and can be worn in so many other ways, dressed up or down. THE CLASSIC ONE .... BLACK A classic black is edgy and modern with the zippers and detail.  Have to love the red lining too. PS don't forget the cool sunglasses!! style with the polka dot top, and check slacks.  a stylish combo

A WEEKEND WITH GEORGE Hope everyone had a great weekend relaxing or going out. My weekend was definitely a quiet one ( the usual household chores boring stuff) but it was nice to have time to enjoy the beautiful warm spring weather.  IF it was not  so windy  I would have spent time outside in the garden.  One of my loves of springtime ....the spring flowers.. but with the extremely windy conditions no thanks. GETTING COMFORTABLE SO what I did was find some movies to watch , books to read and just chill  in something comfortable.  I am sure most of us have days like that - where we just  want relax  in something comfortable. My favourite lounging outfits are my pair of yoga pants  and top , a silk slip or old faithful lounge coat for the chilly mornings.  That is what weekends are about sometimes, just to RELAX. A NEW PURSE IS A MUST! Yes that is what I say, especially when spring and the summer season starts. A new purse is something that can change a outfit or look completely. From dressier to a more casual look. Something as simple as a clutch with a dress gives it a more elegant look, then if you want to go casual a rattan or weave bag  has  a more relaxed look. SO here are some great purses that I find give an outfit that extra POP.
