WOMENS DAY, THOUGHTS?

WOMENS DAY. IS IMPORTANT

How do you feel about the womens day being celebrated? The idea of marking this day is important but i think most people think, its only another day but of no relevance to them.

WOMEN ROLE MODELS

Women have always been seen as the nurturers - at home, in some careers i.e. nurses or teachers, or think of Mother Theresa dedicating her life to care of children. That to me is where it starts, caring of children and helping them to grow into confidant adults.

But also i think of the women who have been involved in sciences , the ones that were in space, to imagine that was not possible 100 years ago or more.  Women explorers were unheard.

Still woman are behind in economic part, being paid less or not be promoted as much as a man would be.

But lucky there are changes and it is great to see!

Another thing is to see more diversity in fashion industry, the curvy girl is no longer ignored .
Great to see girls modelling or blogging about fashion for the plus size girl. It is something that
would not have happened 10 or 20 years ago. So when a full figure swim model was on the cover of
Sports Illustrated , it was  a huge breakthrough.

Young woman are making more and more changes everywhere and it is important for all.


So Women  give yourself a pat on the back, and be kind to each other. We  win , when we support and help one another to get ahead in work , professional life.
