STYLISH EVEN IF FREEZING It has been unbelievably cold here and it makes one want to only stay under the covers. But such is not life. So what to wear when  it is so chilly out? Sweater and slacks , okay. But somedays you have to wear something a little more interesting for work or dinner out. I have one go to thing I love to wear when the weather is colder, its usually a knit. A sweater dress are the best idea for such chilly times. A longer length version is the best  and a nice pair of knee high boots  add a lot to the look. I don't really like a lot of bulk or layers , first it is uncomfortable under winter coats plus sometimes to hot when inside offices or malls. Colourful LOOking - just for fun.   after some dreary days some colour is a nice option.  I would love this colourful knit dress.  Styling Tip:  a black belt that   breaks up the print. BLOGGING & WRITING IDEAS? Usually I don't have a problem to find ideas or things to do, but the last few days have me thinking , I don't know if writing blog for CurvyGirls is necessary  Then I shake my head and lose the fog and it is clear more women- especially curvy gals need to share their ideas.    . Why? Well  I think it is really important to let other women see and know that they are important and can be fashionable and stylish too. It is  important for the younger girls to know not all models are XS or look like the photos in the  magazines. . LIVING IN A CITY THAT WAS NOT A FASHION HUB ( LIKE NEW YORK) I still loved the idea wearing something unique. From my white leather boots and coat or a pair of floral embroidered boots, or a red pleather skirt set. Well I  think you know what I mean.  A GOOD WINTER COAT  IS A INVESTMENT My one love during the winter season is a nice stylish and warm winter coat. And now is a great time to look for one as sales are on, Here are a few of my favourite styles from casual or dressy looks. THE NEUTRALS  camel colour is most flattering on everyone.  Added fur trim makes it more luxurious. Shearling a on trend fashion  and will last you years.  THE PARKA Can never go wrong with a parka, simple lines and hood is a must have.  Longer or shorter version  take your pick COLOUR ANYONE? I must say I love a change of colour for winter. These 2 coats are my favourites.

THE  N.Y. FASHION WEEK LOOKS -- DEFINITELY CAN WEAR. I have been looking at some of the great fashions from the fall fashion week and I am really excited to see the styles really natural  and things one can wear now or later. Some of the looks from designers  Beckham, Kors, Furstenberg, lim or Sui  make me feel like i need to go shopping  for a few pieces. Starting  with these  - RED  RED RED and more red,,,, what a surprise!  Its bold , its sexy and its really head to toe. Can't ever have enough red really. Simple red blouse or skirt or purse  if you don't feel comfortable in head to toe red. Though a red coat is ideal and perfect for now.  DOING DENIM  or western look , I like  denim dresses  skirts  and the styles are something to last for years. Darker denims are the style for the upcoming fall  and my preferred color, a more slimming choice. ...

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR VALENTINE DAY? Not only candlelight, flowers and chocolates are things to share, if you are not sure of what to do here are some ideas to try. If you are single or not there are things that I think most of us would love. Here is  a list some possible things to do today. Enjoying the special day with those important to you. Sporty types Bowling or rock climbing indoors ,  bike rides  are fun things to try with your friends or partner. Movie lovers A marathon movie night, popcorn and leisure suits, sounds like a plan. some movies to watch, with a bit of romance Six days , Seven nights  is not the typical romance movie, so even for guys they would like it. HATE COOKING? I am not a fabulous cook , if a recipe has ingredients that I don't have on hand or more complicated then no thanks. I love chicken, vegetables and simple fast recipes. A good  healthy dinner with few calories too. Here is one of my favourites and trust me it is  - super simple -  to make and only 3 ingredients. A chicken with salsa  and it is absolutely delicious. Chicken Salsa Delight for one or more Chicken breasts whole,  as many as you need  Salsa medium,  ready made in jar   Cheddar cheese slices Place pieces of chicken breast in a baking dish  Spoon salsa over,  Top with slices of cheddar cheese. Bake in oven  300F  for 20 to 30 minutes.  Cook chicken throughly and the cheese is melted. Voila dinner tonight, simple and easy. Serve with rice and enjoy.
