SOCIAL MEDIA & INFLUENCERS. I am not a big social media sort, I will look at a few my favourite instagram or blogs  for the great photos or interesting places , and the looks. But it really is not a big influence on my style picks. Recently I read an article study about how social media is having a negative influence on young girls  7  or 8 year olds that are worrying about getting fat and dieting.  My heart broke reading that. Why are small girls that age really looking at so much social media ? Why is it someone that young is worrying about things like dieting? Young girls confidence is important  and to imagine that its starting to effect someone so young, it really is a big problem.  Someone so young does not have the knowledge or understanding of social media effects on them. SPRING SHOWERS ;MARATHONS & WATER Spring is the usual time that  marathon starts in the city.  There is the world class  marathon with runners from all over the world that is held in April and there are several others also. But I really hate running or jogging, old knee troubles so that is not for me. So what to do? MOTIVATION what works? I have been trying to get my butt in gear , motivate myself to do more exercising the usual exercise  routine (sit.ups, cycling, leg lifts etc)  and more importantly drinking more water. I was  not much of water drinker before, then I got a taste of some sparkly water with fruit flavours, no sugar added. They tasted great and I of course drank way more water which is way more healthy.  Plus I cut down on diet soda drinks that are not always so good for the system. THE FIRST DAY of SPRING Don't you just love springtime?      Depending on where you are living someplaces are still freezing cold  and others are lucky enough to enjoy sunny, warm days. But where ever you live ...Happy Spring ! What is so wonderful with beginning of spring of course is the buds are starting to appear and it starts to warmup. SPRING SEASON STYLE Soon it will be Spring,  and time to wear something lighter.  One item that has always been part of my wardrobe are blazers and bombers .Right now blazers are a big influence in  fashion and  on most blogger sites.  The one thing about a good blazer is it will last one years, especially a nice tailored black one. Any girl that is working in a office a black suit is a lifesaver. Even if you are not in a office environment  a good blazer can be used anywhere. As a simple spring jacket look  over a t-shirt . THE TREND  & INSPIRATION Purple is the new color for spring . It can be worn by anyone and looks so complimentary. Also it is the color of the royals . So why not feel royal in purple- STYLE INSPIRATION These great looks are something I would wear. A great skirt and simple black top   looks lux but casual too.  Wear with tall boots in cooler temperatures , then come summer a white shirt, sandals and a cute rattan purse. ALL ABOUT YOU! Well the body is a beautiful thing and much has be done to show woman have to conform to a certain shape. This  is especially true in the media , fashion and almost everywhere one goes. So I like some women wonder , Why is it so wrong to be more fuller or curvier ? The fact is most people are not a standard size and it is not only women. I can recall being in a supermarket lineup and seeing the magazine racks filled with images of women  in swimsuits or the heading  ; Improve  your  butt, shrink your waist lose weight... etc. Meanwhile a mans magazine had a image of 6 BIG men in plaid shirts  and hats, for a sport magazine. WOMENS DAY. IS IMPORTANT How do you feel about the womens day being celebrated? The idea of marking this day is important but i think most people think, its only another day but of no relevance to them. WOMEN ROLE MODELS Women have always been seen as the nurturers - at home, in some careers i.e. nurses or teachers, or think of Mother Theresa dedicating her life to care of children. That to me is where it starts, caring of children and helping them to grow into confidant adults. But also i think of the women who have been involved in sciences , the ones that were in space, to imagine that was not possible 100 years ago or more.  Women explorers were unheard. Still woman are behind in economic part, being paid less or not be promoted as much as a man would be. But lucky there are changes and it is great to see! WHERE & WHEN With the cold weather that has effected most of europe its hard to think about going to a gym  , then having to go out in the cold. Not  my idea of fun. (then i am not a gym sort)  Working out at home or being in the outdoors is more for me. Winter would be skiing cross c country   , summer the bike.going out to explore different places.  But after some injuries to knees , it feels not so great. So at home have a stationary bike which is perfect for now. Its nice to be able to hop on after breakfast and listen to music well working out. So what to wear  at home well doing a fitness routine.  Its important to be comfortable and have a outfit that fits right and if it looks good great too. Why not look good well we sweat! Even a good old t shirt is fine, whatever is comfortable. Number 1 for me a comfortable top sport bra. a pair of joggers or yoga pants.  A PROFESSIONAL STYLE Pinstripes are a really smart look for work and also looks  very professional.  Mens suits are what pops to mind. I do love the look of a pinstripe suit and the trend is for suits. Sometimes it can look a bit to masculine , so my look is to give it a bit of a feminine look . So why not go for it?
